I went for a walk, only intending to do about 2 miles, but the weather is mild, and I felt OK, so I went for four. I walked up *The Hill* and that made for a little challenge, but not painful. I'm glad I did the walk and not run because my right calf started to tighten up, meaning I should take it slow for now.

I really miss NOT working on Monday...

i have a friend with whom i have a regular walking date on sundays. i am trying to get her to do more than just the one mile she does. i think next week i will push her to one and a half or two because i am used to doing five.

Is that the 16% hill that you wrote about before? I always think of you and *The Hill* when I think about the Bay to Breakers race that I'm going to do.

I think it will help your friend to do just a little more. Good idea. Winner! We actually played that song in high school band...

That is the one! It's a lot easier to walk up it. Are you dressing up for B2B?
