I got in my 3+ miles today, but I did a jog/walk , but mostly walk. The muscles in my right leg are so weak that I found it hard not to over compensate with my left leg while attempting to run, so I took smaller steps and jogged instead of ran. Out of the 3+ miles I put in today, I probably jogged about 3/4ths of a mile. Hey, I'm RUNNING. It's Fall and I'm running, just like all the docs said. Perhaps it's time to do a little 5k goal setting. I wanna see if I can do the 5k on November 9th in under 50 minutes. A year ago my 5K goal was to get under 26 minutes. Now I'm just thankful to be running at all.

Excellent!
So how do I get to be one of your Followers? I don't see the option to follow over there.
Just one foot in front of the other, I! You're doing great!
Hooray! Just the best news I've heard all week!!!!! (is that enough exclamation points?)
Great news on the 3 miler. Look how far you have come!
3 miles is great!! You'll be fine for Nov 9. I cannot wait to hear all about it.
Barbie2be,
Winner! Yeah, there's nobody like Deano... I'm so excited for you! Just take it easy on those hills and you'll be fine! I can't wait to hear all about it!
Katie,
Several people have pointed out World Run Day to me. That's a pretty cool idea, too!
Tom,
I've noticed that you've figured out the "followers" thing! You've officially made it an even dozen!
Leslie,
Thanks! I love when people say that "one foot in front of the other."
AKA Alice,
Thanks!!!!!! Is there such a thing as too many exclaimation points?
Waddler26.2,
It feels really good to be back at it, even though it's slow, it's progress! Thanks.
Shosh,
Thanks so much! To go from zero running for months to running a little is definitely progress!
