Easy

walk

Activity: Walk
Date: 10/20/08 11:14 AM
Distance: 2.23 miles
Time: 0:46:33
Speed: 2.8 mph
Pace: 21' 26 min/mile
Calories: 207

I went walking, and only walking today. I felt rather off yesterday, and I believe it's from a lack of a good night's sleep due to someone else snoring. Today was just all about getting out there and putting some time on my feet. Today there's also a mini challenge over at PDB, 10 push-ups, 10 crunches, and 10 body weight squats, every day this week. Easy. Done.

Congratulations to all of my friends who participated in the Nike Women's Marathon and Half Marathon yesterday! New personal records were set! I hope to get in next year.

Yesterday's song:
Anticipation - Carly Simon - Be A Good One

PEACE

I'm sure you were a little sad to not be there. That's fantastic that you logged 5 miles the other day. Hmmm...does that constitute "baby steps"? Belated birthday wishes to your daughter.

Oh, we got an invite to a party Nov. 8 and I'm not sure I'll want to get up super early for the race the following morning (especially if we don't get back until the wee hours). I think I'm going to pass on it, though I'm not totally convinced.

I hope to get in next year as well!!!! A walk is still getting out there! Good for you! All I've been doing lately is walking because I've been sick...today I feel better than I have in 5 or 6 days!!!

As for the chicken hat-do you want it???? I will never wear it again so it's yours if you'd like it!!

Nice job getting out there yesterday, sorry I am a day behind :-)

Thanks for your comment about fighting them as your point was the one that I made with them last night in my email. Unless I was the first one over the start there is no way the clock and my time would be one in the same.

So sorry I've been MIA lately. You're running/jogging/walking again!!!! That's awesome. I bet it feels SO good. You will be back to your normal self very soon.

Happy Belated Birthday to your daughter too!

Anne,
There's a brunch afterward! :) Thanks for the birthday wishes for my daughter. Baby steps are mentally draining. Oh, and winner!

Barbie2be,
I'm sure you weren't the only one crying about your feet!

Waddler26.2,
Thanks. I keep listening and I'm hoping to hear quiet instead of sore muscles,

Southbay Girl,
My boss makes us wear goofy hats for our birthdays. Can you say payback? Thanks!

Shosh,
I hope they adjust your time! Good luck with that.

Evelyne,
I know you've been busy with your own aches and pains, too! I hope you're completely back to hitting those weights hard! Thanks for the birthday wishes for my daughter!
