Orange and Yellow

Photos from the "new" old house:

The aloe is in bloom!

This is a double Adirondack chair that my grandpa actually made from a pattern found in Sunset magazine.

This rose is actually as bright as it appears in the picture. This is from yet another rose bush planted my grandma many, many YEARS ago.

Beauty is where you find it. Hidden amongst the weeds, the nasturtiums are thriving and taking over....

Lovely pictures!

In my retirement years, I plan on building Adirondack chairs, too!

Hope you're having a great weekend.

Donna,
Michael gave me a very cool camera for Christmas last year and I'm still playing around with it. I haven't even used half the features on it. Thanks for the nice compliment!

Angie,
I guess that's what happens when aloe runs a muck! You get blooms! My grandpa enjoyed building all kinds of stuff. He always had some sort of project in the works. I believe Sunset Magazine still sells that chair pattern!

Found your blog while trying to find plans for a single Adirondack style chair supposedly featured in Sunset magazine. If you decide to try to sell some photos, check out www.the3dstudio.com which recently added "stock photos" in addition to the 3d models, textures and tutorials that have been the basis of our business. We pay 60% royalty and it's free to become a member and list your photos for sale. We sell computer files (downloads) not physical products.
