After yoga yesterday I had cravings for all the wrong things. I did give into my cravings a little, but that doesn't make it right.

Reality Check:
6 weeks until the marathon. I still need to sign up for the half marathon in October before the fees go up.

Things that went right:
*I did a 2.5 mile run in 23:56. Photobucket - Video and Image HostingIt was an easy run, and I didn't punch it.
*Nutrition is on course today.

Things that need improvement:
*Stock up on brown rice.
*Pay close attention to nutrition. It was way off yesterday.
*my run today was supposed to be a 10K at the lake but things changed so I could only fit in the 2.5 instead.

Hi! I found your blog through Donna's and thought I'd say hello. I've been trying to read back a little ways too b/c I see you're training for a marathon, that's great! I'm running a 20k on June 3rd and have never ran any kind of race before, well not since high school anyway, LOL, so it should be interesting!

Thanks for visiting! Last year was my first marathon. I did run a handfull of 5k's prior to that, but a marathon was something I never fathomed until a friend of mine made it her goal to run 3 marathons the year before she turned 50, and I'm a few years younger than her. I figured I could give it a go. I'm hooked. That's cool about your 20K. It will be fun and worth the effort!

I'm having a craving for the cookies that are warm and sitting on the counter right over there, but I'm going to try my best NOT to eat them. I made them for my father in law but he doesn't want any, go figure!

I'm going to try to run outside tomorrow at lunch. The weather looks nice for it.
