I had every intention of posting yesterday, which never happened. I did end up working out at home with The Bean, (push-ups, abs, obliques, back extensions, hamstrings, hips), which is a workout, it's something, but compared to the workouts I used to do, I really felt like I was back at square one even though I'm really not. I have some progress to report: I held a plank position for about 1:15 minutes, which doesn't sound like much, but for the longest time I couldn't even attempt do one second. I guess the core muscles are s-l-o-w-l-y returning. I knew everything wasn't going to come back over night. It's going to take at least a full year, and then some.
I'm on my way.

try not to overdo it. you don't want to hurt yourself.
i am dying to get back into a routine but i don't know how long it will be before the procedure i had on wednesday kicks in. :(
holding a plank for 1:15 is a BIG deal!!!! You should feel very proud!!!
Thank you so very much for your donation! I'm so excited about Carlsbad. Who knows how I'll do-but I'm going to enjoy myself and have fun!!
1:15? Wow. I don't think I could do that (well...I might be able to, but I'd be completely shaking!)
Hopefully, I'll see you on Tuesday. I miss everyone!
Barbie2be,
Winner! I figured going to a specialist would help.
Penny,
I'm getting there. You're very welcome! Have a good race!
AKA Alice,
Yeah, you'd be able to. :) I hope to hear a great, pain free race report!
