Water In The Sky

My son comes rushing in the house this afternoon:

"Mom!"
"You've gotta come and see this."

"Bring your camera."

This is what I saw from my backyard:

I'm not quite sure what happened but we're guessing it's from either a broken fire hydrant OR a broken pipe, which my neighborhood has seen plenty of recently. We'll see if there's a blip on the news about it.

All is back to normal.

Yesterday's song:
Straight And Narrow Way - Bob Marley & the Wailers

I have no idea if you'll even remember who I am, but here's where I'm at:

Just copying and pasting a note to peeps to talk about my move to a new blog(after not updating my old one in forever http://lostbutterflyseekingsolace.blogspot.com/!) and was in the process of transferring online friends. In case you're interested, follow my profile. My new blog is not a fitness one, but feel free to join me over there. It's just a bunch of talking crap about nothing. :)

Hi! So happy you stopped by! Did you find out what the gushing water was about??

It looks like Old Faithful or something!

Your neighborhood looks so beautiful and summery, but we're having a major cold snap in New England right now.

I love that your son instinctive thought of you taking a picture - for the blog, right?

We had a water main break near us and couldn't use the water for three days. It's been rough at work, let me tell you.

Waddler26.2,
Exiting for a few minutes.

Simplicity,
Yes, I do! Thanks for looking me up. The gusher was caused by a car that bumped into a fire hydrant. It didn't make the news.

Rachel,
We had a gorgeous day. Since we're costal, we usually get socked in with overcast skies for most of the day.

Anne,
Erik has also dabbled in photography, and even won a couple of prizes for his works, so I guess he sees things like I sort of would... You know how it is, you have kids. :) I heard about the water up there! I'm concerned that it will happen in my area, too because the pipes are so old.

Katie,
Excitement for a few minutes, anyway!
