Blue Christmas

So, I changed my blog. Blue for the holidays! Why not?

Before I forget to mention, my brother ran in a 10K over the weekend. It's probably his speediest since he entered the 50's decade three years ago. He was pretty happy about it with his 7:30 minute mile. I can only dream about going that fast. Here's his results:

San Francisco - Run Wild for a Child - 10K
132 Karl S Fremont CA 4606 53 12/82 M 50-59 46:35 7:30/M

Yesterday's song:
Somewhere Over The Rainbow - Judy Garland - AKA Alice (Heffer Blog)

The new blog look is nice. I like to use the color blue for Christmas decorations and wrapping because it's (kind of) non-traditional.

Oh, and the song: Elvis of course. (Right?)

Nice new's good to change things up for the holidays. And why is it when I know a song, so does someone else who is quicker at the keyboard?!

love the new look and congrats to your brother! I'm 2 decades younger, and can only dream of a time like that :D

Darn, I could have guessed Elvis.

congrats to your brother. He does know that PR's should be counted by the decade? So when you enter a new decade you get a new set of PR's.
Darn, I wish I was that fast.

And the guy rarely trains! Thanks.

AKA Alice,
I thought it was a neat idea!

Part of the reason I used blue for Christmas is because I like blue, and it was my boss that said blue is not a Christmas color. It just stuck with me, hence, the blue ornaments.

Thanks. I needed a little change for the holidays.

I will never be that fast! He's always been crazy fast and doesn't put in enough training.

He's been running since high school. If he took the time to train properly, he'd be super fast. I can only imagine being that fast.

Cool! My brother's brother-in-law ran the 5k, too.

He's been at it for a long while!

I needed a change. The only thing is I'll need to change it again after the holidays are over. :)
