Today's run with the track club was along Harbor Island, near the airport. I went out about marathon pace for this run. I just wasn't feeling it today, maybe because we arrived late, but I got in just a smidge more than 5 miles, so it's all good. I also ran most of the way with AKA Alice, which helped the run go smoother -- It's always better running with a friend. For us Californians, the weather was a bit chilly. 62 degrees doesn't sound cold when you read the numbers, but we had high 70s to low 80s yesterday, so, yeah, the temperature drop and the grey skies made the air feel a lot cooler.
I wanted to post a map of today's run, but for some reason BiM isn't letting me.

62 degrees sounds heavenly right now, esp. because we're going through some hotter-than-usual weather here in Florida (don't snicker - it's true! LOL).
I hope my run tomorrow w/the club goes well like yours did today.
sounds like perfect running weather to me. Wish I could have joined you on that run - that's the pace I would choose too. :-)
I ran in very similar weather today and it did feel chilly -had to wear a jacket.
Hey Irene! Thanks for running with me this morning and for entertaining me with your work stories. I know I slowed you down... You're a sweetie for sticking with me!
Man - it was heavy drizzle here up the coast. I was so wet when I was done with my run I actually wrung water out of my shirt, shorts and socks! I could have used some wipers on my glasses!

We've had about 4 sunny days this summer, so a dry 62 degrees sounds perfect. Sigh!
great run with great friends in great weather, sounds perfect :)
Sorry I missed you guys on Saturday. It was a bit on the chilly side, wasn't it?
Five miles is five miles, fast or slow. :)
Joyce,
It was a wee bit chilly for us! It was OK during the run, but after it was cold!
Lisa,
It was chilly, but the jacket came off once we got going. I'd much rather run when it's cooler like that, opposed to when it's toasty!
Cami,
The weather sure is weird! I hope this doesn't mean we'll have a warm winter!
AKA Alice,
No, you didn't slow me down. I'm not really training for anything, and I really wasn't feeling it that morning. It was good to run with you.
Glen,
I ditched the glasses. I don't mind running when it's like that, but it's after the run when everything is a bit chilly.
IRFF,
The 62 degrees for this time of year is a freak thing!
Mel,
Running with friends makes all the difference!
Laura,
We missed you, too! Yeah, it was chilly!!!
