Morning Has Broken

Here's a few pictures from the America's Finest City Half Marathon on Sunday...

When we arrived at the starting point at the Cabrillo Monument, we witnessed the sun rising from the east, over the Mission Bay...

I need coffee!

Look at the new hardware we've achieved! Cooling down after the end of the run, at Balboa Park. From left to right: Me, Michael (hubbie), Sam, and Sam's friend from work.

PEACE

What an awesome view!

I've always liked that song but had no idea who it was by. So I had to resort to googling it in order to cure my curiosity! I cheated....so I won't leave the answer. :)

I can't even say or spell his new name, but his old name was Cat Stevens. Dropping in to see what's up. Cool pics and don't try to run with those medals!

Shopper,
It was a gorgeous view.
Awww, your such a good player! But, now you know who it is. ;)

Troy,
Yay, Cat Stevens. Winner! We had one of my brother's friends live with us when they were in high school and the guy was a huge Cat Steven fan. The songs from that time are etched in my head. ;)

Anne,
We only had about 4 hours of sleep that night, and to get up at 4:30 am was tough! It was a welcoming sunrise, though.

Katie,
It wasn't even 6:30 am yet... Yep, too early! LOL...

Barbie2b,
Winner! For his other names! One of my friends actually had that song played at her wedding instead of the traditional wedding march.

Evelyne,
Thanks!

Chantal,
You will! And I know you'll be great! Are you going to wear YOUR running skirt for your half marathon??? :)
