It Don't Come Easy

Warning - Rant ahead... You may want to skip this part. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I haven't worked out in the sense of weights and exercises, etc, but I have been physically busy. I am exhausted. My nutrition the past three days has been based on what ever hubbie brought to the house. "Green salad with a chicken topper" never computed in his brain when I asked for that. It was more like burgers, pizza, deli sandwiches that were mostly bread and cheese. ALL of the places he picked up food at had salads. I ate part of what he brought because that's all there was and I needed to eat. I now have a major itchy break out on my arm, eyelid and shin... I thought I had the floors done but hubbie decided to put another coat of poly on the floors I had finished and it messed up what I spent HOURS doing... It wouldn't be so bad if it were the bedrooms, but it was the transition between the diningroom and the livingroom and it would take resanding to fix the problem. GAH! I wish I could say something uplifting and positive like "I'll get past this and it's just a minor thing," which (in the big picture) it is -- but I'm exhausted -- I just can't deal. I have my breaking point, too... I probably won't go to the house today, but I'm thinking an easy run will do me good because hubbie can't mess that up.

Rant over. Sorry. I had to get that out.

The good news is that I haven't lost or gained any weight. Oh, and the San Diego Chargers beat the Denver Broncos. Yay. (Not that I'm a huge football fan, but it's nice to see the home team win.) Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Today is a new day, the start of a new week. It has to get better. RIGHT?

Peace

*hugs* to you Irene.

To your hub, if he reads here, I recommend flowers, an apology & some sanding...not necessarily in that order.

Hope today is better

I'm glad the Chargers won too. It was a great game. From all that sanding and shellacking, I don't think you need weights or equipment!

So, is this one by Ringo Starr or the Beatles????

Cathy,
I was pretty tired. Today IS better. :)

Anne,
Yay Chargers! As for weights, I have a feeling it's gonna be tough to really get back into it. My arms are looking pretty good, though -- LOL...

Evelyne,
My hubbie doesn't know how to leave well enough alone sometimes. He's always like that, though. Every home project that I do, he has to add to it, even if it's complete. I did get some rest. Thanks. :) I need a little more rest, though... LOL

Barbie2be,
Winner with George Harrison!!! Ringo Starr re-released it in 1991.

Today is better. I was just tired... ;)

Ranting is ok. If it weren't for ranting, I would be hurting people. :)

You poor thing! Think of the payoff, though: a stunningly beautiful house that you'll enjoy for years.

My ex-husband did something worse than your husband did, by the way. I was having a tough week at work, and he decided that he would clean the apartment from top to bottom before I came home, including scrubbing the wood floors.

And scrub the wood floors he did.

With bleach.

OY.

Guess what? He's going to Home Depot this weekend for more sandpaper and poly... The boo boo is not in a place that can be covered with an area rug. Bleach??? Yes, Oy!
