All Star

What?

My husband got into today's San Diego Union Tribune, complete with picture!

PS... It's the first picture. LOL.

That's a great article!

Hmm, maybe I should be running slower? I hope I'm as spry as that 85 year old when I get that age!

That's an awesome article (and I feel like I know some celebrities too, since I know Sue and John... I'm frequently at the back of the pack with John...he's a funny guy).

I'm going to ask Michael for his autograph when I see him next :-)

Did you pick up your pace band? What time are you aiming for?

What a wonderful article. And I LOVE Michael's quote:

“Play hard, work hard. But don't play so hard you can't play the next weekend."

Ask Michael if I can use that with my clients, ok?

So excited for your marathon, I!

What a great article! I hope that he has a great time on Sunday. Do you two run together?

Thanks for sharing!

Yea for your hubby!

Nice the way the paper did an article spotlighting slower runners.

That's so awesome!! Great article. The picture of your hubby is a great shot. I'm going to have to remember to smile and pose when I see the cameras.

It was great meeting you today. I'm glad you were there to help me maneuver my way around the Expo maze.

I have to say it again, you do NOT look like grandma. You are Freakishly Strong (or is it "tough"?)! ha ha

That was a wonderful article and I'm glad Michael was featured in it. However, I think YOU should have been featured, to show the kind of mettle it takes to run a marathon.

I've been thinking of you all day. I hope your race went well. :-)

Glenn Jones,
Thanks. It was on the front page, which was a surprise! The 85 year old guy is amazing. He's always there!

AKA Alice,
Yeah, ask him for his autograph! I'm guessing I'll come in anywhere between 5 and 5:30. :)

Izzy,
It's about time the back of the packers got some attention!

Barbie2be,
Winner! Thanks. He's stoked!

IRFF,
He CAN be fun, but I'm his wife... LOL...

Leslie,
I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you used that quote!

Mel,
Thanks!!!

Lisa,
We start together but I run faster, and I usually have about 45 minutes to an hour on him.

Rachel,
I liked how they approached the article without getting condescending. The writer was very respectful.

Pat,
Thanks, and we'd love to have you run in our marathon next year!

Penny,
It's kind of funny. We're getting phone calls from friends saying "did you know you were on the front page of the paper?" LOL.

Anne,
LOL... He has to. He's always taller than me. LOL. j/k.

Sara,
It was fun meeting you, too! I hope we're able to run together sometimes soon!

Dori,
Awwww, you're so sweet to say that. This was a boost for Michael since he really isn't into the running scene as much as I am. Now he wants to at least do one minute better than he did last year.
