Spreading My Wings A Little...


I've been keeping up with the running, attempting to bring up my speed again, albeit ever so slowly... I'm running in my neighborhood. about a 2.5 mile route, around the lake near by, which is about a 6.4 mile distance, or the gym treadmill at 4 miles. I'm looking at other weight training routines but I'm finding it hard to switch gears since I've done Body For Life for so long. I'm looking at one program that involves circuit training but I'm not sure that's the way I want to go. I have to do more research into it. I do realize that to make more changes with my performance (and even physique) that I need to change what I'm doing, even if it's for a short while. I'm back at my pre-marathon training weight (yay) and I'm gaining muscle again. I was so consumed with marathon training that I put weight training aside. Marathon training and weight training was just too much wear and tear on my body. I need to figure out a happy balance.

my dad used old fashion latino training tie a stake to your neck and run , the neighborhood dogs will help you, plus getting eaten is a big motivator for the runnig portion of your training.
